Welcome to KnowledgeBoard.com, a self-moderating global community for knowledge management.

Web 2.0 was big on the agenda last month as KnowledgeBoard attended the Practical Applications for Business Benefit conference in London. Matt Henkes gives his highlights in the Blog Spot, while I look at speaker Suw Charman-Anderson's tips on how we can move away from over-stuffed inboxes in Boxed out: Using Web 2.0 to ease email overload.

In part one of his new guide: Improved collective performance: Investing in Web 2.0, Peter Bond also tells us how to get the most out of social tools through KM and the principles of the learning organisation.

Elsewhere, according to leadership guru Peter Adair, there is no such thing as a born leader – truly successful leadership is influenced by Western, Eastern and tribal traditions, and fuelled by group dynamics. He discusses his thoughts on how we can tap into this knowledge base in The rise of the new leader.

And in the final part of the series on knowledge transfer, we look in-depth at three successful, practical case studies from active academic partner The University of Wolverhampton in Head to head: KTP at work.
