According to the 60 participants from 17 different countries, this years UnBla conference on the topic of Regional Innovation has been a great success.

UnBla.07 addressed the issue of a Regional Innovation Strategy for Central Switzerland, covering three main areas:

1. Supporting a region, including a whole range of stakeholders with different roles and from a substantial variety of groupings and backgrounds, and fostering the desire to innovate.
2. Telling the stories of regional innovators, both locally and internationally, particularly not ignoring traditional, even mature local industries that may have equally good if not better growth prospects than high-tech industries.
3. Generating positive effects from disturbing innovation processes, actively breaking out of conventional lines of thought and accepted knowledge and enabling innovation.
